Escape videoblog. (21 MB Quicktime)
This videoblog is made up of entirely random footage of things I've seen on my trip. I cut this baby together on the train ride from Florence to Venice. (as youll see in the video) All the footage was shot with my point and shoot Sony DSCT7:
The song is "Brothers on a hotel bed" by Death Cab for Cutie.
Thanks for the tunes Duncs!
I'm in Venice now. Ahhhh Venice. What a spectacular place. So spectacular I took 539 photos today!

I love it...as usual. I always watch your videos over and over. They're inspiring. I'm quite certain that bikini dancer had eyes for you. I like the transition to you on the bike. Very cool. The old town, the yellow umbrella w/sun, - beautiful, the train tracks, tunnel at the end...all very cool..tied together very well& the wakeboarding looked like a blast!

Nice one. Love travel films. Being in Italy doesn't hurt the production values, either.

Jon - haven't checked out the video yet but while you're in Venice, make sure you check out the Doges Palace and the jail - look carefully inside the cells, the prisoners have carved their names and dates in the stone. Pretty amazing!!

This was very well done. The power lines at the end cut into the lights on the same parallel worked well. I love your stuff. Feel good vloggin'.

Very awesome stuff. And great to know that someone else loves Sony cameras as much as I do :) What format does your camera take movies in? My M1 takes movies in .mp4 format.

the simplest way to learn about something is to photograph it
and then really look at it
i mean really look at it
and for me
my greatest photo is of four people
jonathan
janet
rebecca
duncan
if i have a swan song it would be my gift to them
the ability to see things differantly through the eyes of an artist
ahhhh
your photos and your art
how spectacular
big hug

That camera is pretty sick. have you had it the whole time, or did you just pick it up? Do you prefer it over your Mini-DV?

Excellent. I love the travel montage at the beginning. It's not everywhere that you'll see a fully loaded Apache helicopter fly overhead. Cool shot.
And i agree with that "Lish" Person. That bikini girl did look like she was eyeing you up. The camera loved her.......and she loved the camera.

Fantastic! I'm a fan. I love the umbrella shot, and the dancers. You have something that is rarely seen in photography, much less videography. You have an original eye. Can't wait to see more.
